Don't Waste Energy!

The first thing you must do to fight global warming is save energy. Now I have put together a list of very basic stuff that you can do to not waste energy.

1. Whenever you leave a room, remember to switch off the lights. This is a very easy habit change that you can do right now that will save a load of energy over time... even if you were the only person who would do this. Because you'd save so much energy during your entire lifetime. Especially if you compare to others.

2. Change a light bulb. Wherever you can you should replace regular light bulbs with compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs. Replacing just one 60-watt incandescent light bulb with a CFL will save you $30 over the life of the bulb. CFLs also last 10 times longer than incandescent bulbs, use two-thirds less energy, and give off 70 percent less heat.

If every U.S. family replaced one regular light bulb with a CFL, it would eliminate 90 billion pounds of greenhouse gases, the same as taking 7.5 million cars off the road. So think about that when you light up your room.

3. Gather your own energy. You can get the electricity you need to your house in many other ways than just paying the same old utility bill. You can learn how to build your own power system which in most cases is a hell lot cheaper than buying the electricity from a company or buying big solar panels. So go and build your own energy system right away, here's a manual that you can buy for just $49, Power4Home and build a good power system for your home for very cheap and that way save a lot of money and especially energy. You can also find this info for free on the Internet but it's probably just easier for you to get the real manual right away... But you choose what's best for you.

Plant a Tree...

If you have the means to plant a tree, start digging. Or maybe you can't plant a tree but if you can plant anything, do it. You see... during photosynthesis, trees and other plants absorb carbon dioxide and give off oxygen. That means they are an integral part of the natural atmospheric exchange cycle here on Earth, but there are just too few of them right now to fully counter the increases in carbon dioxide caused by automobile traffic, manufacturing and other human activities.

P.S

A single tree will absorb approximately one ton of carbon dioxide during its lifetime. So just planting one tree will make a big difference.

Don't Let Them Silence You!

The third and probably most important thing you can do right now... is not to be silent about this. Let people know that they can do something and that they can help. I mean if you do this change... and you get, let's say... 2 other people to do this, then those two will get 2 people each to do this, and then they get 2 people to do this etc... Do you see the snowball effect here? No one can stop you. So now you know how you can just by telling 2 people about this make a change and possibly start a snowball effect that will change this world forever!
